Born on 15th June. 1953 in the well-placed family of Chinese Communist Party leader, Xi Zhongxun. Xi Zhongxun once served as deputy prime minister of China and  

Was a former comrade of Communist China’s founder Mao Tse-tung.

When Xi Jinping was young, he spent his childhood in the relative splendor of the residential compound of China’s governing aristocracy in Beijing. However, Xi’s destiny got amended when his father was removed from power in 1962.

Before the Cultural Revolution in 1966-76, Xi was often disesteemed with his party and government. In 1966, Mao set the sociopolitical movement- Cultural Revolution to maintain “true” Communist ideology. In order to eliminate purge remnants of capitalist society, All formal education was halted. 

He was sent to the rural Shaanxi province countryside in 1969, where he worked for six years as a manual laborer on an agricultural commune. During that time, he built a good relationship with the local inhabitants. He grew intense and passionate, which would aid the wellborn Xi’s credibility in his eventual rise through the ranks of the CCP.

Despite being the Cultural Revolution was a failure, Xi made an appearance with a sense of idealism and realism. Xi Jinping went out of favor after openly criticizing the government’s action during the 1989 Tiananmen Square incident.

Her marriage to Xi Jinping lasted only three years when Xi Jinping served under then Secretary-General of the Central Military Commission Geng Biao. Once their marriage ended, she subsequently moved to Britain.

Xi became an official party member and started serving as a branch secretary in 1974. He attended Beijing’s Tsinghua University in chemical engineering the following year. After his graduation in 1979, he worked with Geng Biao for three years. Geng Biao was then the vice-premier and minister of national defense in the central Chinese government.

Xi quit his current job in 1982 and decided to leave Beijing and work as a deputy secretary for the CCP in Hebei province. In 1985, he changed his job where he was appointed a party committee member and a vice mayor of Xiamen (Amoy) in Fujian province. By 1995 he had ascended to the post of deputy provincial party secretary.

In 1999, he worked his way up, becoming governor the following year. He held both the deputy secretarial and governing posts until 2002 as Fujian’s head was environmental conservation and cooperation with nearby Taiwan. That year marked his initiative to Zhejiang province, serving as acting governor and, from 2003, party secretary.
